Service Scope
Services at Cardiac Surgery Department cover all types of procedures and services, necessary for preventing new diseases and diagnosing, treating and following existing diseases up. We are giving treatment to patients of all age groups.
Aims and Objectives of the Program
The aim of the cardiology training course program is to provide education, ensure that all the students know how to make diagnostic and medical interventions for heart and circulatory system diseases in all ages and in both sexes in accordance with national and European Union standards and teach skills how to professionally develop in these areas.
- At the end of the course, the students should know how to arrange treatment for cardiac and circulatory system diseases, perform planned interventions and postoperative care procedures, taking into consideration European Cardiology Association Proficiency Board and Turkish Society of Cardiology Proficiency Board criteria,
- Know how to solve complications which may develop after the interventions,
- Adopt an attitude to respect the patients’ rights and maintain ethical standards of conduct during diagnostics, treatment and post-treatment periods.
- Be aware of the laws and regulations of their own branch
- Have knowledge about implementation techniques in different spheres
