EVAR/TEVAR TRAINING
COURSE DESCRIPTION
Endovascular Aortic (Ascendant & Descendant Aorta) Repair procedures have become increasingly
important in the treatment of aneurysms in the arterial system by Chimney/Periscope technique. The
results of this treatment are very well and the intervention is less harmful to the patients.
WHY THIS TRAINING?
Due to technological developments, the number of possibilities for endovascular treatments rises. In the
meanwhile, the treatment is getting more complex. Knowledge of the latest technology and the skills
required is crucial for obtaining an optimal result.
GOAL OF THE TRAINING:
EVAR/TEVAR is to obtain insight and understanding of the most important aspects of the preparatory
measurements for an endovascular aneurysm repair, and the execution of the actual endovascular
interventions.
The training is very interactive and consists of:
- Clear Presentation by experts in vascular surgery or interventional cardiology
- EVAR/TEVAR
- Preparation
- Endovascular Sizing
- Stenotic and Aneurysmatic Vascular Diseases

This training is dedicated to medical specialists and residents in vascular surgery and interventional
cardiology.
